We do not charge a room rental fee, however, we have food and beverage minimums depending on the time of day and day of week that you wish to book. We recommend booking your large party AT LEAST one month in advance.

We do not have a kids menu, but we offer kids cups for drinks, build your own pizzas and our family-sized Tavern Salad is a kid favorite.

Our pizzas are 12 inches and are enough for 1-2 people depending on appetite. Leftovers are great the next day reheated in a toaster over, air fryer, or in a skillet!

Yes! For parties larger than 8 guests, we strongly recommend filling out our events form. We can book big groups, semi-private dining in our dining room, and we also do whole-house buyouts. Built in 1884, this Queen Anne-style building was constructed as a masonic lodge, post office, and city hall for Dayton, and over time also housed the local Knights of Pythias Hall, a movie theater, Kroger grocery store, the Midwest Brokers Mart, and a carpet store. The building is divided into a three-story front portion with a tall second-story assembly hall (formerly serving as a city meeting hall and masonic hall) with a shorter and smaller third-story assembly hall above (which formerly served as a movie theater), with the rear wing featuring four stories that formerly served as offices for the Masons, Knights of Pythias, and the City of Dayton. Between these two sections of the building is a large and winding interior staircase, with a double door at the exterior along Berry Street, a cast iron balcony with decorative brackets on the exterior of the second floor, a gable at the roofline above. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022 as “Dayton City Hall” - though it is known more commonly in the local area as the Rayme-Burton Building. Above Wayfarer Tavern are 10 residential apartments.

We’re open 7 days a week. Sunday through Thursday our bar and dining room are open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the kitchen from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Friday & Saturday the bar stays open until 11 p.m. and the kitchen until 10 p.m.

We’re an elevated neighborhood pizzeria, bar and restaurant serving unique thin-crust square-cut pizzas (“crispy cheese edges”), along with snacks, salads, appetizers and a serious drinks menu including the best wine list in Northern Kentucky.
